Is Blogger user-friendly?

In response to a good deal of response from my blogging friends regarding the use of different blog engines, I thought I'd be objective and give Blogger one more try.

The main points I have made against Blogger are:
- poor design (themes and typography)
- lacking UI (user interface)
- cliché (everyone and their fluffy pet uses it)
- integration with social media

I prefer Posterous and Tumblr because they are better in all those ways.

Yet a lot of replies said they like Blogger because of it's ease of use. That was like someone telling me that they like Sunny Delight because it tastes fresh and natural.
I thought I'd better see if anything has changed, maybe Blogger is using a different recipe, as it were.

Well, so far it doesn't appear to be true. (Times is the still the default font for this post and I counted four steps before I could actually start blogging. Posterous has one.)

Anyway, there's more to it. So I'll publish and check out what else Blogger has to offer.

UPDATE: Well, even though the editing pane uses Times, the theme uses Arial. Not much better and confusing.
There is a simple e-mail post option [blog name].[secret word]@blogger.com, which is just as easy to remember, so that's good.
But I have yet to find a way to autopost to Twitter, Facebook, or other sites.
